Cowboy brought me back this nice Brazilian shirt. I have no idea what it says, since it's in Portuguese, but I think it's something about lifesavers and fleas. It's skin tight, but I guess that's the way Brazilian pugs do fashion.

It's a bit tight around the neck. My mom got flip flops that look pretty tasty. Hmm. Maybe we can trade.

So I was getting a bit bored being back in the USA, so I decided to spend a week up in Portland, Oregon, home of crusty white people. Thankfully, my Aunt Weeny-- who lives there-- is not a crusty hippie (though she does have a bread and roses poster in her house). Here in PDX, the stupid humans have been carting me around in a milk crate-- that's right, a MILK CRATE. It's totally not my style. Extremely humiliating. Why don't I have something like a satin pillow? I'm terribly afraid someone from NYC-- like my friend Sigmund-- will see me.

Yes, it's true! I moved south of the border with my mama and El Vaquero. I really love Baja. It's been about a week so far, and my humans have already bought me my own tapete, that is, Mexican pug sunbathing mat.

I love it so much that sometimes I can scarcely contain my excitement.

It's very luxurious and I highly recommend sunbathing mats to every other pug out there. Tapetes are essential for proper Mexican siestas.

Because my mom wants to watch WEG on TV instead of taking me to the San Francisco's Pug Sunday tomorrow, she took me to the San Jose pug meet-up. Only 12 pugs RSVP'ed, but there were around 20!

I was a bit overwhelmed, and kept to myself at first.

Miraculously, it fit perfectly! And was sooooooo soft!
